Article R4412-33 of the French Labour Code

Alarm systems and other communication systems are installed to allow, in the event of an accident, incident or emergency due to the presence of dangerous chemical agents in the workplace:
1° An appropriate reaction;
2° The immediate implementation, where necessary, of the measures required;
3° The initiation of rescue, evacuation and salvage operations.
The measures to be implemented, in particular the rules for evacuating workers, are defined in advance in writing.

Des systèmes d’alarme et autres systèmes de communication sont installés afin de permettre, en cas d’accident, d’incident ou d’urgence dû à la présence d’agents chimiques dangereux sur le lieu de travail :
1° Une réaction appropriée ;
2° La mise en œuvre immédiate, en tant que de besoin, des mesures qui s’imposent ;
3° Le déclenchement des opérations de secours, d’évacuation et de sauvetage.
Les mesures à mettre en œuvre, notamment les règles d’évacuation des travailleurs, sont définies préalablement par écrit.
