Article R4413-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The term of office for directors is three years. However, the term of office of the members of the Board of Directors elected by the Regional Council and the Regional Economic, Social and Environmental Council expires automatically when the mandate in respect of which they were appointed expires before the expiry of the aforementioned period. Directors may be reappointed.

In the event of a vacancy on the Board of Directors due to death, resignation or any other cause, the members who have ceased to be members of the Board of Directors shall be replaced for the remainder of their term of office. The replacement is made according to the same rules as for the appointment.

La durée des fonctions des administrateurs est de trois ans. Toutefois, le mandat des membres du conseil d’administration élus par le conseil régional et le conseil économique, social et environnemental régional expire de droit lorsque le mandat au titre duquel ils ont été désignés prend fin avant l’expiration du délai ci-dessus. Le mandat d’administrateur est renouvelable.

En cas de vacance au conseil d’administration par décès, démission ou toute autre cause, il est pourvu au remplacement des membres qui ont cessé de faire partie du conseil d’administration pour la durée de leur mandat qui reste à courir. Le remplacement est opéré suivant les mêmes règles que pour la désignation.
