Article R4422-28 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The inaugural meeting of the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council is chaired by the oldest member, with the youngest member acting as secretary.

During this first meeting, the council deliberates on the provisions of its rules of procedure relating to the procedures for electing its chairman and the members of the bureau.

After the vote on this deliberation, the Board elects its Chairman.

Then, under the chairmanship of the chairman of the economic, social, environmental and cultural council, the members of the bureau are elected.

The bureau is set up as a preparatory committee to draw up the rules of procedure, which must be submitted to the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council for deliberation within one month of its installation.

La séance d’installation du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse se tient sous la présidence du doyen d’âge, le plus jeune membre faisant fonction de secrétaire.

Le conseil au cours de cette première séance délibère sur les dispositions de son règlement intérieur relatives aux modalités d’élection de son président et des membres du bureau.

A l’issue du vote de cette délibération, le conseil élit son président.

Il est ensuite procédé, sous la présidence du président du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel, à l’élection des membres du bureau.

Le bureau est érigé en commission préparatoire pour l’élaboration du règlement intérieur qui doit être soumis à la délibération du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse dans un délai d’un mois à compter de son installation.
