Article R4424-20 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Assembly of Corsica determines the conditions under which the communes mentioned in the section 2 of Chapter III of Title III of Book I of the Tourism Code or their groupings are designated as tourist communes, by order of the President of the Corsican Executive Council, for a period of five years and after consultation with the Sites Council and the departmental commission responsible for the environment, health and technological risks. It determines the conditions under which these communes, their fractions or their groupings are set up as classified tourist resorts.

L’Assemblée de Corse détermine les conditions dans lesquelles les communes mentionnées à la section 2 du chapitre III du titre III du livre Ier du code du tourisme ou leurs groupements sont dénommés communes touristiques, par arrêté du président du conseil exécutif de Corse, pour une durée de cinq ans et après consultation du conseil des sites et de la commission départementale compétente en matière d’environnement, de risques sanitaires et technologiques. Elle détermine les conditions dans lesquelles ces communes, leurs fractions ou leurs groupements sont érigés en stations classées de tourisme.
