At least thirty days before the date of the election, candidates shall hand in their signed declaration of candidacy to the head office of the Association’s body, in return for a receipt, or send it to the same authority by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. In the event of an election by the National Council, the declaration of candidacy may be sent by any means, including electronic means, giving a date certain for its receipt.
Compliance with the deadline for submission is established in the light of the date of the call for candidacies resulting from the provisions of article R. 4441-7.
Any candidacy received after the expiry of this deadline is inadmissible.
The last day for receiving applications closes at 4 pm. If this day is a Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or non-working day, the receipt of candidacy declarations shall close at 4 p.m. on the previous working day. In French Polynesia, the aforementioned time is that in force in Papeete.
