Article R4451-53 of the French Labour Code

This prior individual assessment, recorded by the employer in a form that allows consultation for a period of at least ten years, includes the following information:

1° The nature of the work;

2° The characteristics of the ionising radiation to which the worker is likely to be exposed;

3° The frequency of exposure;

4° The equivalent or effective dose that the worker is likely to receive over the next twelve consecutive months, taking into account potential exposures and reasonably foreseeable incidents inherent in the workstation;

5° The effective dose exclusively related to radon that the worker is likely to receive over the next twelve consecutive months in the course of the occupational activities referred to in 4° of Article R. 4451-1.

The employer updates this individual assessment as necessary.

Each worker has access to the assessment concerning him or her.

Cette évaluation individuelle préalable, consignée par l’employeur sous une forme susceptible d’en permettre la consultation dans une période d’au moins dix ans, comporte les informations suivantes :


1° La nature du travail ;


2° Les caractéristiques des rayonnements ionisants auxquels le travailleur est susceptible d’être exposé ;


3° La fréquence des expositions ;


4° La dose équivalente ou efficace que le travailleur est susceptible de recevoir sur les douze mois consécutifs à venir, en tenant compte des expositions potentielles et des incidents raisonnablement prévisibles inhérents au poste de travail ;


5° La dose efficace exclusivement liée au radon que le travailleur est susceptible de recevoir sur les douze mois consécutifs à venir dans le cadre de l’exercice des activités professionnelles visées au 4° de l’article R. 4451-1.


L’employeur actualise cette évaluation individuelle en tant que de besoin.


Chaque travailleur a accès à l’évaluation le concernant.
