Article R4461-29 of the French Labour Code

Training courses leading to the issue of hyperbaric fitness certificates and hyperbaric prevention advisor certificates are carried out by :

1° A body authorised under the conditions and according to the procedures defined in sub-section 3 below, for training leading to the issue of a certificate of aptitude for hyperbaric conditions, mention B, for the following activities:

a) Underwater and subaquatic archaeology;

b) First aid and safety;

2° A body certified by a certification body accredited under the conditions provided for in article R. 4724-1, for other training courses.

Les formations réalisées en vue de la délivrance des certificats d’aptitude à l’hyperbarie et de conseiller à la prévention hyperbare le sont par :

1° Un organisme habilité dans les conditions et selon les modalités définies à la sous-section 3 ci-après, pour les formations donnant lieu à la délivrance d’un certificat d’aptitude à l’hyperbarie mention B, pour les activités suivantes :

a) Archéologie sous-marine et subaquatique ;

b) Secours et sécurité ;

2° Un organisme certifié par un organisme de certification accrédité dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 4724-1, pour les autres formations.
