Article R4512-13 of the French Labour Code

When the operation is carried out at night or in an isolated place or at a time when the activity of the user company is interrupted, the manager of the external company concerned shall take the necessary measures to ensure that no worker works alone at a point where he could not be rescued quickly in the event of an accident.

Lorsque l’opération est réalisée de nuit ou dans un lieu isolé ou à un moment où l’activité de l’entreprise utilisatrice est interrompue, le chef de l’entreprise extérieure intéressé prend les mesures nécessaires pour qu’aucun travailleur ne travaille isolément en un point où il ne pourrait être secouru à bref délai en cas d’accident.
