Article R4534-142 of the French Labour Code

When workers take their meals on site, a refectory is provided for them.
This room must meet the following requirements:
1° It must have a sufficient number of tables and chairs:
2° It must have at least one appliance for reheating or cooking food and a pantry of sufficient capacity to protect the food and, if possible, a refrigerator;
3° It must be kept in a perfectly clean condition.

Lorsque des travailleurs prennent leur repas sur le chantier, un local réfectoire est mis à leur disposition.
Ce local répond aux exigences suivantes :
1° Il est pourvu de tables et de chaises en nombre suffisant :
2° Il dispose d’au moins un appareil permettant d’assurer le réchauffage ou la cuisson des aliments et d’un garde-manger destiné à protéger les aliments d’une capacité suffisante et, si possible, d’un réfrigérateur ;
3° Il est tenu en parfait état de propreté.
