Article R4624-11 of the French Labour Code

The information and prevention visit to which the employee is entitled is an individual one. The main purpose of the visit is:

1° To ask the employee about his state of health;

2° To inform him of any risks to which he may be exposed at work;

3° To make him aware of the preventive measures to be taken;

4° To identify whether his state of health or the risks to which he is exposed require referral to the occupational physician;

5° Informing the employee about how his state of health is monitored by the department and about the possibility for him, at any time, to have a visit with the occupational physician at his request.

La visite d’information et de prévention dont bénéficie le travailleur est individuelle. Elle a notamment pour objet :


1° D’interroger le salarié sur son état de santé ;


2° De l’informer sur les risques éventuels auxquels l’expose son poste de travail ;


3° De le sensibiliser sur les moyens de prévention à mettre en œuvre ;


4° D’identifier si son état de santé ou les risques auxquels il est exposé nécessitent une orientation vers le médecin du travail ;


5° De l’informer sur les modalités de suivi de son état de santé par le service et sur la possibilité dont il dispose, à tout moment, de bénéficier d’une visite à sa demande avec le médecin du travail.
