Employers of member companies shall report any serious accident to the Regional Committee within forty-eight hours.
For the purposes of this article, a serious accident means an accident which has resulted in death or is likely to result in permanent disability, or which has revealed the existence of a serious danger, even if the consequences could have been avoided, as well as any occupational or work-related illness.
Employers shall provide the Regional Committee, at its request, with all statistical information necessary for the performance of its duties, as well as any information likely to enable the investigations provided for in article R. 4643-31 to be carried out properly.
They shall send the Regional Committee a copy of the declaration of the opening of any building site or other temporary workplace as provided for in the second paragraph of article R. 8113-1.
