Article R4731-5 of the French Labour Code

The labour inspector referred to in article L. 8112-1 will check, as a matter of urgency and at the latest within two working days from the date of delivery or receipt of the letter from the employer or his representative, the appropriateness of the measures taken to put an end to the cause of the serious and imminent danger.

L’agent de contrôle de l’inspection du travail mentionné à l’article L. 8112-1 vérifie d’urgence, et au plus tard dans un délai de deux jours ouvrés à compter de la date de remise ou de réception de la lettre de l’employeur ou de son représentant, le caractère approprié des mesures prises pour faire cesser la cause de danger grave et imminent.
