Article R512-8 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Any filing that does not include at least one copy of the application for registration containing the mention provided for in a of 1° of Article R. 512-3 and at least one copy of the graphic or photographic reproduction of the design(s) provided for in 2° of Article R. 512-3 and which is not accompanied by proof of payment of the filing fee. The above-mentioned reproduction must be of sufficient quality to allow satisfactory publication in the Bulletin officiel de la propriété industrielle.

Est déclaré irrecevable tout dépôt qui ne comporte pas au moins un exemplaire de la demande d’enregistrement contenant la mention prévue au a du 1° de l’article R. 512-3 et au moins un exemplaire de la reproduction graphique ou photographique du ou des dessins ou modèles prévue au 2° de l’article R. 512-3 et qui n’est pas accompagné de la justification du paiement de la redevance de dépôt. La reproduction ci-dessus mentionnée doit être d’une qualité suffisante pour permettre une publication satisfaisante au Bulletin officiel de la propriété industrielle.
