Article R5123-9 of the French Labour Code

The agreements referred to in 2° of article R. 5111-2 may provide for the payment of a temporary degressive allowance to employees who have been made redundant for economic reasons and who have been redeployed in a job that pays less than their previous job.

Les conventions mentionnées au 2° de l’article R. 5111-2 peuvent prévoir le versement d’une allocation temporaire dégressive aux salariés ayant fait l’objet d’un licenciement économique et reclassés dans un emploi comportant une rémunération inférieure à celle qu’ils recevaient au titre de leur emploi antérieur.
