Article R5143-4 of the French Public Health Code

The pharmacist or veterinary surgeon under whose authority the facilities for the extemporaneous preparation of medicated feed are operated is bound by an agreement with the user and :

1° Places orders for medicated premixes for each prescription with an operator, stockist or wholesale distributor of medicated premixes; the order is accompanied by one of the copies of the prescription mentioned in article R. 5141-111 ;

2° Check the conditions of preparation and control with regard to the good practices mentioned in article R. 5143-1 ;

3° Checks compliance with the provisions relating to the composition, prescription and administration of medicated feed;

4° Check the records provided for in article R. 5143-3.

Article R5143-4

Le pharmacien ou le vétérinaire sous l’autorité duquel fonctionnent les installations destinées à la préparation extemporanée d’aliment médicamenteux est lié par convention à l’utilisateur et :

1° Assure les commandes de prémélanges médicamenteux pour chaque prescription auprès d’un exploitant, d’un dépositaire ou d’un distributeur en gros de prémélanges médicamenteux ; la commande est accompagnée de l’un des exemplaires de la prescription mentionné à l’article R. 5141-111 ;

2° Vérifie les conditions de préparation et de contrôle au regard des bonnes pratiques mentionnées à l’article R. 5143-1 ;

3° Vérifie le respect des dispositions relatives à la composition, la prescription et à l’administration des aliments médicamenteux ;

4° Contrôle les enregistrements prévus à l’article R. 5143-3.
