Article R515-9 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Agency’s financial aid abroad is allocated in the States of the priority solidarity zone determined by this committee pursuant toarticle 3 of decree no. 98-66 of 4 February 1998 creating the Interministerial Committee for International Cooperation and Development.

They may also be granted :

a) On authorisation given by a joint decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister for the Economy and the Minister for Overseas France, in States that are members of regional cooperation agreements mentioned in articles L. 3441-2 to L. 3441-6, L. 3551-15 to L. 3551-21, L. 4433-4-1 to L. 4433-4-6 of the General Local Authorities Code, articles 28, 29 and 33 of Organic Law no. 99-209 on New Caledonia and articles 17, 38 and 39 of Organic Law no. 2004-192 of 27 February 2004 on the autonomous status of French Polynesia ;

b) On authorisation given by joint decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister for the Economy, in other States.

Article R515-9

Les concours financiers de l’agence à l’étranger sont attribués dans les Etats de la zone de solidarité prioritaire déterminée, en application de l’article 3 du décret n° 98-66 du 4 février 1998 portant création du comité interministériel de la coopération internationale et du développement, par ce comité.

Ils peuvent en outre être consentis :

a) Sur autorisation donnée par décision conjointe du ministre des affaires étrangères, du ministre chargé de l’économie et du ministre chargé de l’outre-mer, dans les Etats adhérant à des accords de coopération régionale mentionnés aux articles L. 3441-2 à L. 3441-6, L. 3551-15 à L. 3551-21, L. 4433-4-1 à L. 4433-4-6 du code général des collectivités territoriales, aux articles 28, 29 et 33 de la loi organique n° 99-209 relative à la Nouvelle-Calédonie et aux articles 17, 38 et 39 de la loi organique n° 2004-192 du 27 février 2004 portant statut d’autonomie de la Polynésie française ;

b) Sur autorisation donnée par décision conjointe du ministre des affaires étrangères et du ministre chargé de l’économie, dans les autres Etats.
