Article R518-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Chief Executive Officer is appointed by decree.

The fixed, variable and exceptional components of his remuneration are set jointly by the Minister for the Economy and the Minister for the Budget, after consultation with the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The total amount of his remuneration may not exceed the ceiling mentioned in article 3 of decree no. 53-707 of 9 August 1953 relating to State control of national public companies and certain bodies with an economic or social purpose.

Le directeur général est nommé par décret.

Les éléments fixes, variables et exceptionnels de sa rémunération sont fixés conjointement par le ministre chargé de 1’économie et le ministre chargé du budget, après consultation du président de la commission de surveillance. Le montant total de sa rémunération ne peut excéder le plafond mentionné au III de l’article 3 du décret n° 53-707 du 9 août 1953 relatif au contrôle de l’Etat sur les entreprises publiques nationales et certains organismes ayant un objet d’ordre économique ou social.
