I.-Banking and payment services intermediaries within the meaning of Article L. 519-1 and their staff update their professional knowledge and skills, as part of ongoing training, through professional training of sufficient duration appropriate to their activities, taking particular account of changes in the applicable legislation or regulations.
This training is provided by :
1° A credit institution or finance company, a payment institution, an electronic money institution that provides payment services, an insurance company or an intermediary in banking transactions and payment services that is different from the structure in which these people work;
2° A training organisation chosen by the person concerned, their employer or, where applicable, their principal, under conditions specified by order of the Minister for the Economy.
II – The ongoing training provided for inarticle L. 314-24 of the Consumer Code, undertaken under conditions laid down by decree, is taken into account for compliance with the obligations set out under I of this article.
