I. The purpose of the professional training referred to in articles R. 519-8, R. 519-9 and R. 519-10 and the ongoing training referred to in article R. 519-11-3 is to enable intermediaries to acquire legal, economic and financial skills prior to engaging in their activity and to maintain these skills during their activity.
To this end, a programme of the training courses referred to in articles R. 519-8, R. 519-9 and R. 519-10 is drawn up by the organisations representing the profession and approved by order of the Minister for the Economy.
The training programme referred to in article R. 519-11-3 is defined by order of the Minister for the Economy.
II – The skills acquired and updated are tested on completion of the training.
III-The procedures for validating skills are defined by order of the Minister for the Economy.
IV – A certificate signed by the person responsible for the training will be issued for professional training prior to taking up the activity and for actions taken as part of ongoing training. The persons mentioned in articles R. 519-8 and R. 519-9 are also given a booklet signed by the persons with whom the initial training was completed. The results of the skills test provided for in II of this article are appended to the booklet. The certificate and booklet are returned to the holder on completion of the training.
