Article R521-8 of the French Commercial code

On receipt of the documents referred to in articles R. 521-6 and R. 521-7, the registrar shall assign a serial number to the application for registration and, after checking that the file is complete and the application in order, shall proceed with the registration by entering in the register the information listed in article R. 521-6 as well as the serial number and date of registration.

The supporting documents referred to in article R. 521-7 as well as one of the schedules, if two copies have been submitted, are attached to the registration.

The court clerk issues a receipt for the registration.
The clerk of the court will give the applicant a receipt containing the same information as that entered.

Where two slips have been handed in, he returns the remaining slip on which he affixes the serial number and the date of registration.

A réception des pièces mentionnées aux articles R. 521-6 et R. 521-7, le greffier attribue un numéro d’ordre à la demande d’inscription et après avoir vérifié la complétude du dossier et la régularité de la demande, procède à l’inscription en reportant sur le registre les informations énumérées à l’article R. 521-6 ainsi que le numéro d’ordre et la date de l’inscription.


Les justificatifs visés à l’article R. 521-7 ainsi que l’un des bordereaux, si deux exemplaires ont été remis, sont annexés à l’inscription.


Le greffier remet un récépissé au requérant comportant les mêmes informations que celles qu’il a inscrites.


Lorsque deux bordereaux ont été remis, il restitue le bordereau restant sur lequel il appose le numéro d’ordre et la date de l’inscription.
