Article R522-18 of the French Commercial code

Operators of general shops are required to send, in the first month of each year, to the general inspector of industry and commerce in whose district their establishments are located, a general report on their activity during the past year.

Attached to this report is a statement indicating:

1° The maximum level reached by stocks of the main goods stored, according to a list which is fixed for the region by the general inspectorate of industry and commerce on the proposal of the national federation of logistics service providers and general shops approved by the State;

2° The amount of advances transcribed on the warrants.

Les exploitants de magasins généraux sont tenus d’adresser dans le premier mois de chaque année, à l’inspecteur général de l’industrie et du commerce dans la circonscription duquel sont situés leurs établissements, un compte rendu général de leur activité au cours de l’année écoulée.

A ce compte rendu est joint un état indiquant :

1° Le niveau maximum atteint par les stocks des principales marchandises entreposées, suivant une liste qui est fixée pour la région par l’inspection générale de l’industrie et du commerce sur la proposition de la Fédération nationale des prestataires logistiques et des magasins généraux agréés par l’Etat ;

2° Le montant des avances transcrites sur les warrants.
