Article R5313-3 of the French Labour Code

The State aid referred to in article L. 5313-1 is allocated by the Regional Prefect to employment centres for the implementation of the following actions, based on a territorial diagnosis:

1° Participation in anticipating economic change ;

2° Contributing to the development of local employment;

3° Reducing cultural or social obstacles to access to employment.

This aid can only be granted if the employment centre is set up as an association or public interest group.

Founding members must have a majority of votes on the board of directors and the executive committee.

Article R5313-3

L’aide de l’Etat mentionnée à l’article L. 5313-1 est attribuée, par le préfet de région, aux maisons de l’emploi, pour la mise en œuvre, à partir d’un diagnostic territorial, des actions suivantes :

1° Participation à l’anticipation des mutations économiques ;

2° Contribution au développement de l’emploi local ;

3° Réduction des obstacles culturels ou sociaux à l’accès à l’emploi.

Cette aide ne peut être attribuée qu’à la condition que la maison de l’emploi se constitue sous forme d’association ou sous forme de groupement d’intérêt public.

Les membres fondateurs à titre obligatoire doivent disposer de la majorité des voix au sein du conseil d’administration et du bureau.
