Foreign nationals wishing to work as salaried employees in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon must attach to their first application for a work permit the contract or promise of employment, specifying the occupation, the salary offered and the length of the working week, stamped by the head of the labour and employment department, which they had to obtain before entering this collectivity.

L’étranger qui souhaite exercer une activité professionnelle salariée à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon joint à sa première demande d’autorisation de travail le contrat ou la promesse d’embauche, précisant la profession, le salaire offert et la durée hebdomadaire de travail, revêtus du visa du chef du service du travail et de l’emploi qu’il a dû obtenir avant son entrée dans cette collectivité.
