The products and transactions referred to in 2° of Article L. 561-10 are bearer bonds, securities and contracts and transactions relating to these products.
When a bond, security or contract referred to in the first paragraph is redeemed, the institution identifies and verifies the identity of the bearer and, where applicable, the beneficial owner, in accordance with the procedures set out in Articles R. 561-5, R. 561-5-1 and R. 561-7 respectively. In addition, where the bearer is not the same as the subscriber, or where the subscriber is unknown, the institution obtains from the bearer information on how the bond, security or contract came into the bearer’s possession and, where applicable, supporting documents to corroborate this information.
