Article R561-44 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Chairman of the National Sanction Commission convenes its meetings.

The committee may only deliberate if at least three of its members, full members or alternates, taking part in the deliberations, are present.

If the chairman is unable to attend, the meeting is chaired by the full member of the Court of Cassation, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Court of Cassation, or, if he or she is not present, by the full member of the Court of Audit, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Court of Audit.

Le président de la Commission nationale des sanctions convoque ses séances.

La commission ne peut délibérer que si trois au moins de ses membres, titulaires ou suppléants, participant à la délibération, sont présents.

En cas d’empêchement du président, la séance est présidée par le membre titulaire de la Cour de cassation, désigné par le premier président de la Cour de cassation, ou, s’il n’est pas présent, par le membre titulaire de la Cour des comptes, désigné par le premier président de la Cour des comptes.
