Article R561-45 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Secretary General of the National Enforcement Committee may be assisted by a Deputy Secretary General.

The Secretary General investigates the cases submitted to the Committee for review, in conjunction with the rapporteur. He may not receive instructions from the Chairman or other members of the Commission in the performance of this task.

He monitors the implementation of the Commission’s decisions.

He manages the Commission’s staff, made available to it by the Minister for the Economy or the Minister for the Interior, with the agreement of the Commission Chairman.

Le secrétaire général de la Commission nationale des sanctions peut être assisté d’un secrétaire général adjoint.


Le secrétaire général instruit les affaires soumises à l’examen de la Commission, en relation avec le rapporteur. Il ne peut recevoir d’instruction du président et des autres membres de la Commission dans l’exercice de cette attribution.


Il assure le suivi de l’exécution des décisions de la Commission.

Il dirige le personnel de la commission, mis à disposition de celle-ci par le ministre chargé de l’économie ou le ministre de l’intérieur, avec l’accord du président de la commission.
