Once the obligations set out in article R. 581-1 have been met, the beneficiary of temporary protection is issued with a provisional residence permit valid for six months and bearing the words “beneficiary of temporary protection”.
The temporary residence permit is renewed automatically for the duration of the temporary protection defined in the second paragraph of article L. 581-3. However, the period of validity of the provisional residence permit may be limited to the period remaining until the end of the temporary protection.
This temporary residence permit entitles the holder to engage in professional activity.
