I.-The examination fee provided for in VII of article L. 611-5 corresponds to the organisation and management of the aeronautical examinations, aptitude tests and proficiency checks provided for in article L. 410-1 of the French Civil Aviation Code. The persons subject to the fee are those registering for a theoretical examination or an aptitude test with a view to the issue of an aeronautical title or a flight crew qualification.
The fee, which varies according to the aeronautical title or rating in question, is set by a joint order of the Minister for Civil Aviation and the Minister for Finance. Registration for the examination is subject to payment of the fee.
II – The civil aviation personnel licence fee provided for in VII of article L. 611-5 corresponds to the issue of a flight crew licence as provided for in article L. 410-1. The persons subject to the payment of this fee are the persons to whom an aeronautical title or a flight crew qualification is issued. The fee is set by a joint order of the Minister for Civil Aviation and the Minister for Finance. Payment of the fee is a prerequisite for the issue of the licence in question.
III.-The training programme fee provided for in VII of article L. 611-5 corresponds to the approval provided for in article L. 410-3, a flight crew training programme. The persons subject to the fee are those who apply for approval of such a programme. The fee is set for each type of programme by a joint order of the Minister for Civil Aviation and the Minister for Finance. The approval requested is subject to payment of the fee.
IV – Civil aviation personnel registered on the list of jobseekers referred to in article L. 311-5 of the French Labour Code are exempt from payment of the fees provided for in this article.
