The Chairman of the Agency’s Board of Directors is appointed by joint order of the Ministers of Health, Social Affairs and Social Security. The Board of Directors also comprises:
1° Nine representatives of the State:
a) The Secretary General of the Ministries responsible for Social Affairs or his representative ;
b) The Director General of Healthcare or his representative;
c) The Director of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics or his representative;
d) The Director of Social Security or his representative;
e) The Director General of Social Cohesion or his representative;
f) The Budget Director or his representative;
g) A deputy director of the general directorate of healthcare provision, appointed by the general director of healthcare provision, or his representative;
h) The director general of a regional health agency or his representative appointed by the secretary general of the ministries responsible for social affairs;
i) The ministerial delegate for digital health or his representative;
2° Three persons qualified in the Agency’s fields of competence, appointed by joint order of the ministers responsible for health, social affairs and social security;
3° A representative of the health insurance organisations appointed by the Director General of the Union nationale des caisses d’assurance maladie;
3° bis The Director of the Caisse nationale de solidarité pour l’autonomie, mentioned in article L. 14-10-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles, or his representative;
4° A representative of the agency’s staff, elected in accordance with the procedures laid down by its internal regulations.
The Chairman and the members mentioned in 2°, 3° and 4° are appointed for a renewable term of three years.
