Article R612-50 of the French Intellectual Property Code

In the event of partial non-compliance of the description or drawings with the provisions of articles L. 611-17, L. 611-18, L. 611-19 (4°) or L. 612-1, notification shall be given to the applicant.

The notification specifies the proposed deletions as well as the period allowed for the applicant to submit observations.

If the applicant has not submitted observations within the time limit set or if these observations are not accepted, the deletions are made automatically.

En cas de non-conformité partielle de la description ou des dessins aux dispositions des articles L. 611-17, L. 611-18, L. 611-19 (4°) ou L. 612-1, notification en est faite au demandeur.

La notification précise les suppressions envisagées ainsi que le délai imparti au demandeur pour présenter des observations.

Si le demandeur n’a pas présenté d’observations dans le délai imparti ou si ces observations ne sont pas retenues, les suppressions sont effectuées d’office.
