Foundations have a Scientific Advisory Board. This board is made up of medical and scientific personalities from outside the foundation, appointed by the Board of Directors in accordance with the procedures set out in the Articles of Association. The Scientific Advisory Board meets at least once a year. Its composition is defined in the Articles of Association and its operating rules are defined in the internal regulations.
The Scientific Advisory Board is consulted on the Foundation’s research support policy, its work programme and the guidelines for its annual activities. It provides expertise to the Director in implementing the research policy defined by the Board of Directors.
