Article R6142-9 of the French Public Health Code

Only those biology, functional investigations, psychiatry, radiology, follow-up and rehabilitation and long-term care departments which are not necessary for teaching and medical research may be placed entirely outside the application of this chapter.

Practitioners working in these hospital departments do not participate in teaching and research tasks and are not subject to the status provided for in article L. 6151-1.

Peuvent seuls être placés totalement en dehors de l’application du présent chapitre, ceux des services de biologie, d’explorations fonctionnelles, de psychiatrie, de radiologie, de suite et de réadaptation et de longue durée qui ne sont pas nécessaires à l’enseignement et à la recherche médicale.

Les praticiens exerçant dans ces services hospitaliers ne participent pas aux tâches d’enseignement et de recherche et ne sont pas soumis au statut prévu à l’article L. 6151-1.
