The nine-member supervisory boards comprise :
1° Representatives of local and regional authorities:
a) The mayor of the municipality in which the main establishment has its registered office, or the representative he or she appoints ;
b) A representative of an inter-communal public body with its own tax authority, of which the municipality in which the establishment has its registered office is a member or, failing that, another representative of the municipality in which the main establishment has its registered office;
c) The president of the departmental council of the department in which the main establishment has its headquarters, or the representative he or she appoints;
2° Staff representatives:
a) A member of the nursing, re-education and medico-technical care committee, appointed by the committee;
b) One member appointed by the establishment’s medical committee;
c) One member appointed by the most representative trade unions on the basis of the results obtained in the elections to the establishment’s technical committee;
3° Qualified personalities:
a) One qualified person appointed by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency;
b) Two representatives of users within the meaning of article L. 1114-1 appointed by the State representative in the department.
In Saint-Barthélemy, the college of local authority representatives is made up of three local councillors, one of whom is appointed from the corresponding college of the supervisory board of the Saint-Martin public health establishment.
