Subject to the exercise of his general powers of control, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency may, on his own initiative or at the request of the Supervisory Board or the Director of the institution, submit the operation and management of a public health institution in difficulty to the examination of a fact-finding mission.
The Director General of the Regional Health Agency may call on specialist representatives of the State, if necessary.
The fact-finding mission will hear any person it deems appropriate, in particular the chairman of the medical committee and the representative of the medical control body responsible for the establishment in question.
The Director General of the Regional Health Agency communicates the conclusions of the fact-finding mission to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, the Director and the Accounting Officer of the institution; he proposes measures to remedy the operating or management difficulties observed.
