The mediators referred to in 2° of Article R. 6147-117 are a doctor mediator and a non-physician mediator.
The doctor mediator and his alternate are appointed by the Chief Medical Officer of the Armed Forces Hospital from among doctors who are or have been working in the Armed Forces Medical Corps. The medical mediator and his alternate must not work in the same department.
The non-medical mediator and his alternate are appointed by the Chief Medical Officer of the Armed Forces Hospital from among the non-medical personnel who work or have worked in the Armed Forces Medical Corps.
If one of the mediators is unable to act or is absent for a prolonged period in excess of six months, the Chief Medical Officer of the Armed Forces Hospital shall appoint another mediator, in compliance with the provisions of the two preceding paragraphs.
