Article R6152-33 of the French Public Health Code

Any practitioner who is unable to return to his post or to carry out his duties must immediately notify the director of the establishment and inform him of his address, except in cases of force majeure. If they fail to do so, they will be struck off the register for abandoning their post, by order of the Director General of the Centre National de Gestion, after a formal notice period of fifteen days.

Tout praticien qui est dans l’impossibilité de rejoindre son poste ou d’exercer sa fonction doit en aviser immédiatement le directeur de l’établissement et lui communiquer son adresse sauf cas de force majeure. A défaut, il est radié des cadres pour abandon de poste, par arrêté du directeur général du Centre national de gestion, après mise en demeure assortie d’un délai de quinze jours.
