Article R6152-364 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of an accident at work or occupational disease, the practitioner is entitled to leave for a maximum of two years, during which time he/she will receive the full emoluments provided for in 1° of article R. 6152-355.

The benefit of this leave cannot have the effect of extending the duration of the current contract without prejudice to the provisions of the second paragraph of article L. 1226-19 of the Labour Code applicable to contractual practitioners.

En cas d’accident du travail ou de maladie professionnelle, le praticien a droit à un congé d’une durée maximale de deux ans pendant lequel il perçoit l’intégralité des émoluments prévus au 1° de l’article R. 6152-355.


Le bénéfice de ce congé ne peut avoir pour effet de proroger la durée du contrat en cours sans préjudice des dispositions du deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 1226-19 du code du travail applicable aux praticiens contractuels.
