In the event of an accident at work or occupational disease, the hospital assistant is entitled to leave for the entire period of incapacity to work until complete recovery, consolidation of the injury or death.

In this situation, the person concerned receives all of his emoluments for a maximum of twelve months.

At the end of this period, the person concerned may benefit from an extension of the leave with maintenance of the full remuneration mentioned in 1° of article R. 6152-514, for periods not exceeding six months and up to a total duration of twenty-four months.

En cas d’accident du travail ou de maladie professionnelle, l’assistant des hôpitaux bénéficie d’un congé pendant toute la période d’incapacité de travail jusqu’à la guérison complète, la consolidation de la blessure ou le décès.

Dans cette situation, l’intéressé perçoit la totalité de ses émoluments dans la limite de douze mois.

A l’issue de cette période, l’intéressé peut bénéficier d’une prolongation du congé avec maintien de la totalité de la rémunération mentionnée au 1° de l’article R. 6152-514, par périodes ne pouvant excéder six mois et dans la limite d’une durée totale de vingt-quatre mois.
