Article R6152-58 of the French Public Health Code

The secondment is granted for a maximum period of five years and may be renewed under the same conditions.

When the period of secondment exceeds six months, the post is declared vacant, except in the case provided for in 3° of article R. 6152-51, for which the post is declared vacant when this period exceeds one year.

Le détachement est prononcé par période de cinq années au plus et peut être renouvelé dans les mêmes conditions.

Lorsque la durée du détachement excède six mois, le poste est déclaré vacant, sauf dans le cas prévu au 3° de l’article R. 6152-51, pour lesquels le poste est déclaré vacant lorsque cette durée excède un an.
