Article R6152-627 of the French Public Health Code

In the interests of the service, an associate practitioner who is the subject of disciplinary proceedings may be suspended from his duties by decision of the director of the establishment, after obtaining the opinion of the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee, for a maximum period of three months.

In the event of proceedings for professional incompetence, suspension may be pronounced, under the same conditions, pending a decision on the practitioner’s case.

During these periods of suspension, attached practitioners retain their full emoluments.

Dans l’intérêt du service, un praticien attaché faisant l’objet d’une procédure disciplinaire peut être suspendu de ses fonctions par décision du directeur de l’établissement après avis du président de la commission médicale d’établissement, pour une durée maximale de trois mois.

En cas de procédure pour insuffisance professionnelle, la suspension peut être prononcée, dans les mêmes conditions, en attendant qu’il soit statué sur le cas du praticien.

Pendant ces périodes de suspension, les praticiens attachés conservent la totalité de leurs émoluments.
