In the interests of the service, an associate practitioner who is the subject of disciplinary proceedings may be suspended from his duties by decision of the director of the establishment, after obtaining the opinion of the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee, for a maximum period of three months.
In the event of proceedings for professional incompetence, suspension may be pronounced, under the same conditions, pending a decision on the practitioner’s case.
During these periods of suspension, attached practitioners retain their full emoluments.
