Practitioners governed by sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of this chapter, who were born on or after 1st January 1955 and who are in active employment at the time of their application, may be authorised, subject to medical fitness and within the limit of thirty-six months, to extend their working life beyond the age limit applicable to them.
II-As a transitional measure, the extension of activity applies under the conditions defined inarticle 135 of law no. 2004-806 of 9 August 2004 relating to public health policy, as amended byarticle 141 of law no. 2016-41 of 26 January 2016 relating to the modernisation of our healthcare system, to bring the maximum duration to:
1° Sixty months for practitioners born before 1 July 1951 ;
2° Fifty-six months for practitioners born between 1 July 1951 and 31 December 1951;
3° Fifty-one months for practitioners born in 1952;
4° Forty-six months for practitioners born in 1953;
5° Forty-one months for practitioners born in 1954.
