Article R6152-925 of the French Public Health Code

Family solidarity leave is granted under the conditions set out in articles L. 3142-6 to L. 3142-15 of the French Labour Code and in the regulatory provisions adopted for their application to an associate practitioner whose ascendant, descendant, brother, sister or a person sharing the same home is suffering from a life-threatening illness or is in the advanced or terminal stages of a serious and incurable illness, whatever the cause. This leave cannot be deducted from annual leave.

Un congé de solidarité familiale est accordé dans les conditions prévues par les articles L. 3142-6 à L. 3142-15 du code du travail et aux dispositions réglementaires prises pour leur application au praticien associé dont un ascendant, un descendant, un frère, une sœur ou une personne partageant le même domicile souffre d’une pathologie mettant en jeu le pronostic vital ou est en phase avancée ou terminale d’une affection grave et incurable, quelle qu’en soit la cause. La durée de ce congé ne peut être imputée sur la durée du congé annuel.
