Article R6152-927 of the French Public Health Code

The associate practitioner may, at his request, be placed on unpaid leave by the director of the establishment to which he is assigned, in the event of serious accident or illness of his spouse, a person with whom he is bound by a civil solidarity pact, a child or an ascendant.

The duration of this leave may not, in this case, unless otherwise agreed, exceed one year, renewable once.

Le praticien associé peut être placé, à sa demande, en position de congé non rémunéré par le directeur de l’établissement d’affectation, en cas d’accident ou maladie grave du conjoint, d’une personne avec laquelle il est lié par un pacte civil de solidarité, d’un enfant ou d’un ascendant.

La durée de ce congé ne peut, en ce cas, sauf dérogation, excéder une année renouvelable une fois.
