Article R6153-4 of the French Public Health Code

The pharmacy intern participates in all the activities of the entity in which he is doing his training, by delegation and under the responsibility of the practitioner or pharmacist with whom he is placed.

In particular, he/she is responsible for

1° Participating in the preparation, control and dispensing of medicinal products, products or objects mentioned in article L. 4211-1 and sterile medical devices, as well as in the study of the metabolism of medicinal and toxic substances;

2° Participating in the preparation and validation of biological analyses contributing to the prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of treatments;

3° liaising between the entity in which he/she is doing his/her training and the care structures.

L’interne en pharmacie participe à l’ensemble des activités de l’entité dans laquelle il accomplit son stage, par délégation et sous la responsabilité du praticien ou du pharmacien auprès duquel il est placé.

Il a notamment pour mission :

1° De participer à la préparation, au contrôle et à la dispensation des médicaments, produits ou objets mentionnés à l’article L. 4211-1 et des dispositifs médicaux stériles ainsi qu’à l’étude du métabolisme des substances médicamenteuses et toxiques ;

2° De participer à l’élaboration et à la validation des analyses biologiques concourant à la prévention, au diagnostic et à la surveillance des traitements ;

3° D’assurer la liaison entre l’entité dans laquelle il accomplit son stage et les structures de soins.
