Article R6156-16 of the French Public Health Code

Each trade union organisation, or union of trade unions, may submit only one list of candidates for the same ballot. No-one may be a candidate on more than one list for the same ballot.

Each list shall include a number of names equal to at least two-thirds and at most the number of full and alternate representative seats to be filled for each statutory college, without any mention being made of each candidate’s status as full or alternate representative.

The submission of each list must be accompanied by a declaration of candidacy signed by each candidate, indicating the college for which he/she is standing.

Chaque organisation syndicale, ou union de syndicats, ne peut présenter qu’une liste de candidats pour un même scrutin. Nul ne peut être candidat sur plusieurs listes d’un même scrutin.

Chaque liste comprend un nombre de noms égal au moins aux deux tiers et au plus au nombre de sièges de représentants titulaires et suppléants à pourvoir pour chaque collège statutaire sans qu’il soit fait mention pour chacun des candidats de la qualité de titulaire ou de suppléant.

Le dépôt de chaque liste doit être accompagné d’une déclaration de candidature signée par chaque candidat mentionnant le collège au titre duquel il se présente.
