Article R6156-8 of the French Public Health Code

For the representatives of the staff mentioned in 1° of Article R. 6156-2, each list of candidates includes a number of women and a number of men corresponding to the proportion of women and the proportion of men appearing on the electoral list of each statutory college of the Board of Governors, assessed at the time of drawing up the electoral list mentioned in the second paragraph of Article R. 6156-13.

When the application of this principle does not result in a whole number of candidates to be designated for each of the two sexes, the number is rounded down or up indiscriminately.
