Article R6164-5 of the French Public Health Code

The health care organisation’s medical conference:

1° Proposes a programme of action that takes into account the analysis of undesirable events mentioned in article R. 6164-2. It includes the actions required to respond to the recommendations in the certification report and to implement the objectives and commitments set out in the establishment’s multiannual contract of objectives and resources in terms of care safety and quality improvement. It also takes into account the information contained in the annual report of the users’ commission. It is accompanied by monitoring indicators;

2° Draw up an annual activity report presenting, in particular, changes in the monitoring indicators.

The establishment’s legal representative shall make the action programme and the annual report available to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency.

Article R6164-5

La conférence médicale d’établissement :

1° Propose un programme d’actions qui prend en compte les bilans d’analyse des événements indésirables mentionnés à l’article R. 6164-2. Il comprend les actions nécessaires pour répondre aux recommandations du rapport de certification et mettre en œuvre les objectifs et les engagements fixés dans le contrat pluriannuel d’objectifs et de moyens de l’établissement en matière de sécurité des soins et d’amélioration de la qualité. Il prend également en compte les informations contenues dans le rapport annuel de la commission des usagers. Il est assorti d’indicateurs de suivi ;

2° Elabore un rapport annuel d’activité présentant notamment l’évolution des indicateurs de suivi.

Le représentant légal de l’établissement tient le programme d’actions et le rapport annuel à la disposition du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé.
