Article R6222-23-1 of the French Labour Code

In order to allow a new apprenticeship contract to be signed in application of article L. 6222-18-2, an exception may be made to the minimum duration of the apprenticeship contract mentioned in the first paragraph of article L. 6222-7-1 and to the minimum duration of training in an apprentice training centre mentioned in the fifth paragraph of article L. 6211-2.

It is not necessary to sign the agreement to reduce the duration as provided for in Article L. 6222-7-1.

Afin de permettre la signature d’un nouveau contrat d’apprentissage en application de l’article L. 6222-18-2, il peut être dérogé à la durée minimale du contrat d’apprentissage mentionnée au premier alinéa de l’article L. 6222-7-1 et à la durée minimale de formation en centre de formation d’apprentis mentionnée au cinquième alinéa de l’article L. 6211-2.

La signature de la convention de réduction de durée prévue à l’article L. 6222-7-1 n’est pas nécessaire.
