Article R6223-8 of the French Labour Code

For a given professional branch, an interministerial order, issued after consultation with the national professional advisory committee competent for the branch in question, may set ceilings for simultaneous employment, different from that provided for in the first paragraph of article R. 6223-6.

These ceilings are set taking into account the ratio that must be maintained between the number of apprentices and the number of people with the qualifications provided for in application of article L. 6223-8.

Article R6223-8

Pour une branche professionnelle déterminée, un arrêté interministériel, pris après avis de la Commission professionnelle consultative nationale compétente pour la branche considérée, peut fixer des plafonds d’emplois simultanés, différents de celui prévu au premier alinéa de l’article R. 6223-6.

Ces plafonds sont fixés en tenant compte du rapport qui doit être maintenu entre le nombre d’apprentis et celui des personnes possédant les qualifications prévues en application de l’article L. 6223-8.
