Article R6227-7 of the French Labour Code

Failure to grant an apprentice an additional five days’ leave to prepare for tests at an apprentice training centre, or failure to maintain the apprentice’s salary during this leave in breach of the provisions of article L. 6222-35, is punishable by a fine for a fifth-class offence.
Repeated offences are punishable in accordance with articles 132-11 and 132-15 of the Criminal Code.

Le fait de ne pas accorder un congé supplémentaire de cinq jours à l’apprenti pour lui permettre de préparer les épreuves dans un centre de formation d’apprentis, ou de ne pas maintenir le salaire de l’apprenti pendant ce congé en méconnaissance des dispositions de l’article L. 6222-35, est puni de l’amende prévue pour les contraventions de la cinquième classe.
La récidive est réprimée conformément aux articles 132-11 et 132-15 du code pénal.
